In this most recently published breast cancer study, a highly regarded researcher points out that it is not heredity, environment or infection that is the primary cause of breast cancer. Most recent literature reports the same conclusion, i.e., cancer is caused mostly not by who you are (heredity) but rather by how (or where) you live. Interestingly, most literature now theorizes that only 5%-10% of all cancers are now attributed to genetic background, and 90-95 % to how and where you live.

-----The primary cause of breast cancer is still largely unknown.

-----UK (Great Britain) researcher Dr. Richard A. Wiseman, of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, examined “all relevant epidemiological and biological evidence” in an effort to pinpoint a single cause responsible for the majority of cases.

-----The published data do not incriminate genes, the environment or infection as the main cause of breast cancer, Wiseman reports. Although estrogen is a promoter of breast cancer, according to the data, it is not the main cause of the disease.

--- “If such an agent is detected, then intervention studies ---- should lead to a decline in the incidence of breast cancer.”
